The short version. Streakmap stores all of your data directly on your device. We do not run servers, we do not have analytics, we do not use third-party SDKs, and we do not collect anything about you. There is nothing to hack, leak, or sell because we never receive anything in the first place.
Streakmap is an iPhone application developed and maintained by David Preti (hereafter referred to as "we", "us", or "the developer"). This Privacy Policy describes how the Streakmap app handles information.
We do not collect any personal data. Streakmap is designed to work entirely on your device without the need for accounts, logins, or cloud storage managed by us.
Specifically, Streakmap does not:
Streakmap stores the following information locally on your iPhone, using Apple’s standard storage frameworks (UserDefaults and SwiftData):
This data never leaves your device through Streakmap. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your iPhone. We have no copies, backups, or access to it.
If you choose to enable reminders, Streakmap uses local notifications scheduled entirely on your device. No notification content or schedule is sent to an external server. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
Streakmap offers optional in-app purchases (monthly subscription, yearly subscription, and lifetime unlock) processed by Apple through StoreKit. When you make a purchase:
If Streakmap offers an optional iCloud sync feature to back up or share your data across your own Apple devices, that data is stored in your personal iCloud account, under your control. Apple manages this storage and we do not have access to it. See Apple’s privacy documentation for details on how iCloud handles your data.
Streakmap is suitable for all ages (4+) and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information at all, there is nothing specific to children that could be collected or shared.
Streakmap does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking services. The only platform services involved are those provided natively by Apple (StoreKit for purchases, UserNotifications for reminders, and optionally iCloud for user-controlled backup).
Because Streakmap does not collect or hold any of your data on our side, there is no personal information for us to access, modify, or delete. You remain in full control of your data at all times:
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app evolves and its data handling changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide notice within the app.
